In Africa most of its people are so creative .Africa is the wealthiest continent in-terms of natural resources and second industrious hub after Asia.In Africa the families will have many children and able to send them to school.Yes ,Africa used to be called the dark continent but now the spot light has shifted towards Africa.During the 8th African Union Summit which took place in Addis Ababa on 29 and 30 January 2007, the Heads of State and Government decided to launch a competition for the selection of a new flag for the Union. They prescribed a green background for the flag symbolising hope of Africa and stars to represent Member States. In Africans are hard workers ,risk takers eg in northern Africa crossing the sea using pirates boats entering Europe for greener pastures is just an example of how africans are determined to change there lives for the better.Thousands and thousands of africans cross seas and deserts in search of greener pastures.

.In We are the greatest dreamers in Africa, millions of songs never recorded ,millions of innovations never came to industry .Starting is easy but finishing is always a challenge .Thank God to this information age that has released us from ignorance through investment by visionaries like Strive Masiyiwa through his fibre optic project Liquid telecoms and many more.
In Africa first we need to forgive each other as Africans and we need to forgive our former colony masters. We need relationship to transform our continent.Lets shift our mindset. We need other continents for progress and they also need us.Business is now global.Lets have a redirection ,reconstruction and reproduction as Continent. We don’t need to base on facts but lets stand on truth.Let’s defy facts ,If you don’t stand for truth you will be sentenced to facts.Lets have faith we can make it.if you don’t have faith you will not kill giants. We have the skills and mechanism to thrive survival .
The Chinese business tycoon Lee Shau Kee once said ,“Work hard and persevere. Clear enough”, “save your first bucket of gold” – or small fortune — from work, but then use it for investments. Don’t just park money in the bank. “For men, find a job that you will be happy with and work hard at. Women, in line with an old Chinese proverb, should marry the right man. Don’t marry too early in life. It’s better to work hard when young and establish a career first. For those already successful, money can become a controlling factor in life and make you a slave to it. One way to avoid that: Philanthropy. Giving away money to the right cause, with a leveraged effect and your own involvement in how it is spent, will give you peace of mind; try to maximize the number of people that can benefit from an individual contribution”.We have ground breakers in Africa, people who can identify talent and polish it to be worth for market. In an effort to address Africa’s growing unemployment, Nigerian philanthropist Tony Elumelu is spending $100 million of his own money to kick-start hundreds of new small businesses – and to identify young entrepreneurs across Africa. An initiative designed to develop young entrepreneurs in Africa. This programme is dedicated to identifying and empowering the next generation of Africa entrepreneurs who will shape their country’s economic and political landscape. In Africa we have entrepreneurs from the humble beginnings who are turning the world upside down in business like Strive Masiyiwa the Chairman Of Econet Wireless Group .In more than twenty years he has been able to appreciate challenges on the African continent rather than joining the bandwagon of African sons who complain about the challenges facing the continent .He took the iniatives to start programmes and humanitarian organization to solve those challenges that he identifies like Carpanum Trust and Joshua Mqabuko Scholarships Scheme. The USA President Mr Barack Obama came up with a vital iniative the Mandela Fellowship which is there to equip young africans entrepreneurs with skills on how to sustain and breakthrugh in the market. The YALI Network provides virtual resources and vibrant physical spaces to equip young African leaders with the skills and connections they need to foster change in their communities and their countries. This has helped to birth the destiny of many young africans as they were unlocked the potential in them like Takunda Chingonzo the co-founder of Sai-Sai .Due to the spotlit he received Forbes have singled him out as future business mogul. Many goverments and private companies in Africa are trying all there best to empower young africans entrepreneurs. In 1999 Rebecca Zeigler Mano founded a small, ambitious but highly organized program called the United States Student Achiever’s Program (USAP) in Zimbabwe. Primarily, the program’s goal was to encourage and assist highly talented but economically disadvantaged high school graduates access scholarships and full-funding at top US colleges and universities. Starting off with 13 students, USAP has since grown into an international program spanning countries across the continents such as South Africa, Nigeria, Benin, Mongolia, Brazil, Ecuador, Estonia, Romania and The United Kingdom, among others. Rebecca’s vision of educating the underprivileged has broken borders and through a dedicated network of Educational Advisors in various countries, USAP has significantly impacted the lives of the recipient youths. She have helped a lot of underprivilleged youths to access highly reputable universities in USA which would otherwise impossible due to their underprivilleged bareground.l would like to express the immense work that envoys from this following USA,Netherlands,China,Germany,Britain,Norway,Sweeden,Australia,Japan,South Korea just to mention a few .These have impacted communities where they are stationed/posted on the African continent. The diversity of programmes they run that include water, education,ICT ,climate change ,agriculture etc has added value to lives, change perspectives in relation to livelihoods and modern applications in those areas.Africa as whole does necessarily need money to progress but African solutions brought about by African sons who have been exposed to platforms that changes their mindset towards our continent. The idea of Social entrepreneurship is fast being embraced by those who have benefited from programmes that empower them to see Africa in different way.
Let us all join together in unity with a common cause to be generation that leaves a legacy of being african sons who confront challenges and bring about solutions that not only facilitate change but also enrich us .Let african ideas become solution for the global world.l call upon my african brothers and sisters we have much more to contribute to the global village than we think we do —-food for thought.
